Software Assurance (SA) is 40% of the list price of the RecordTS license that you are purchasing and is valid for one (1) year from the purchase date. This includes technical support, minor bug fixes and free version upgrades for the contract period. To continue receiving the benefits that Software Assurance brings you, we recommend renewing your contract each year.

Without Software Assurance, you will have to pay full retail price for new versions. CNS/TSFactory does not offer version upgrades or discounts for current product owners. If you do not purchase Software Assurance on a product you purchased from CNS/TSFactory and a new version is released that you wish to move to, you will be charged retail price to obtain that new version.

Software Assurance can only be purchased in one (1) year periods and is valid for one (1) year from the purchase date. It entitles the owner(s) to upgrade protection during the life of the Software Assurance, one (1) year from purchase date. If a new version is released of that product and you have a valid Software Assurance contract, you are eligible to receive that version at no cost. Renewals must be processed before the expiration date. There is no grace period for renewals. Software Assurance owners will be notified three (3) months prior to their contracts expiration. Renewals will be priced at 40% of current list price of the product.
